Annette & Ian

Engaged in Padstow and giddy with excitement, somebody kindly recommended that I plan their destination wedding in Cornwall. But once they had flown back home to Hong Kong and shared the good news with their families they realised that Cornwall was too far for some family members to travel. “You choose a location, somewhere between Bristol (Ian’s family) and Manchester (Annette’s family)” was my brief. I looked at the map and realised it had to be the beautiful County of Shropshire.  I thankfully stumbled across Walcot Hall which has its very own freestanding turquoise ballroom built by the Earl of Powis around 1800.  With ornate ceilings, crystal chandeliers, gilt mirrors, and tall sash windows, all set within acres of beautiful gardens, what was not to love?!

I then went on to plan another two Weddings at Walcott Hall for guests of theirs.
