Pursuing a life well lived

I never planned on becoming a wedding planner—it found me. Thirty years ago, friends of mine living in Australia were planning a wedding in Cornwall, struggling with the distance and time zones. I stepped in to help, and before I knew it, I had orchestrated a stunning celebration near Padstow. 

I was hooked.

I’ve always loved hospitality and events and I spent a decade working in hotel and restaurant management and corporate hosting. Delighting couples and clients through weddings, parties, and other private events is one of my greatest passions. 

I’ve planned more than 100 weddings, facing everything from marquee leaks to power outages. Each challenge has taught me the value of calm problem-solving, meticulous organisation and a good sense of humour when things don’t go to plan. 

When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll find me growing flowers at my allotment, pottering in my walled garden, drinking Champagne, and scouring vintage shops for pre-loved treasures.

Weddings can be luxurious without being wasteful. I’m passionate about incorporating sustainable practices, from repurposing materials to partnering with eco-conscious suppliers. By weaving seasonal and locally sourced elements into your day, I aim to create gorgeously unforgettable events that tread lightly on the planet.
