Kira & James
Kira, who is German, and James both live in Dubai so a destination wedding for most of their guests. They wanted to accommodate everybody onsite and so chose Trevose Golf and Country Club, Constantine Bay, for the weekend. The guests were woken by a piper at 8 am on the Wedding Day playing in the sea mist. The guests were ushered from Rick Stein’s pub, The Cornish Arms opposite the St Merryn Church, just in time to see Kira walk down the aisle. As everybody arrived, walking over the golf course, the sun burnt through. This was quite the party with a live band; espresso martinis and fireworks.

Abbie & Robbie
On the Rock side of the estuary lies a tiny inlet named Porthilly. St Peter’s Church is right next to the beach. Guests then strolled over to Porthilly Farm, where the marquee was perched on the water’s edge. In the weeks before the wedding, Abbie and her friends and family made over 100 paper cranes to be strung up in the clear-roof marquee. They symbolise immortality, good fortune and longevity.
